Short, because there isn't much to disclose. That's the point.

What the API stores
- Cached transcripts. Transcripts are cached server-side so repeat requests for the same video are fast. These are transcripts of public YouTube videos — not your data.
- Minimal request logs. Standard operational logs (requested endpoint, video ID, timestamp, and the IP address needed for rate limiting). They're used to keep the service running and debug problems, and kept only as long as operations require.
What the API does not do
- No video or audio is retained. The service works from caption data; it doesn't keep copies of videos or audio.
- No data is sold. Not logs, not usage patterns, not anything. There's nothing to sell and no one to sell it to.
- No profiles. Free-tier requests are keyless; there's no account to attach behavior to.
This website
- No tracking cookies. This site sets no cookies at all.
- No analytics trackers, no third-party scripts. Static files only. The one network request the site makes from your browser is the status page checking the public
/healthendpoint.
